Deadlock console commands

If you searched “Deadlock console” looking for PS5 or Xbox, that answer is on the platforms page: neither is listed. This page is the developer console inside the PC client.

I limited the table to commands the wiki or a forum post actually names. A longer dump from an unverified list would be how bad binds spread.

Commands with a citation

The wiki documents historical citadel_region_override values of -1 and 0 through 5, but currently marks the command as non-working. Do not rely on it to change matchmaking regions. Crosshair pieces are citadel_crosshair_color_r, g and b, plus pip width, height, gap, opacity and border, and the dot opacity variables. The full list lives on the Valve Developer Wiki and the wiki’s Data:Convars.json.

Questions

How do I open the console?

Turn on Dev command console in settings, then press F7.

Does it work in ranked?

The wiki says the console works in the Hideout, Sandbox, Explore NYC and cheat-enabled custom games. It is restricted in normal matchmaking.

Will a command get me banned?

Valve has not published a policy that covers every command. Treat cosmetic variables and gameplay variables as different risks, and expect the console to be restricted in normal matchmaking.
