DEADLOCKEditorial policy
One page, one question. A tier list does not also try to be a download guide. Numbers that change hourly are stamped with the day they were read and the site they came from.
When the wiki and Wikipedia disagreed about the day-one hero count, I printed both. Picking one without a note would have looked cleaner and been worse.
What we will not publish
Game screenshots on these pages are Valve store or City Never Sleeps images, credited in the alt text. Home-page hero and portrait cards are illustrative artwork, not gameplay captures, official character renders or evidence of game mechanics.
- A release date Valve has not posted.
- A player-count peak we did not cite.
- A build or counter list nobody tested in the current client.
- A mod “ban proof.”
- A Discord invite that did not come from the in-game button.
- Screenshots presented as if we drew Valve’s art.
