Deadlock player count

Deadlock’s all-time peak is 303,347 concurrent players, reached on 16 October 2026 at 21:45 UTC, the day Violet released. SteamDB showed that figure when we checked on 29 October 2026, with a 24-hour peak of 219,152.

We read SteamDB’s chart in a normal browser rather than scraping it, and matched each record to a dated press report. Wikipedia still printed the older 262,145 record when we checked.

How to read a playtest chart

A concurrent peak counts players online at one moment. It is not the number of invited accounts or monthly players. Spikes after a hero release or an invite wave are not the same thing as a launch, and the 24-hour peak a week later was about 219,000.

For context, SteamDB listed Deadlock as the number one game in top wishlists, with 486,499 followers, on 29 October 2026. Before a public Steam page existed, Wikipedia notes a concurrent count around 20,000.
