How the Deadlock hero vote works
Voting chooses the order new heroes release during a major update. The City Never Sleeps release run finished on 20 October 2026. During that event, the 29 September notes specified pregame-lobby voting. Winning-team votes count double, and the first win of the day also doubles your votes.
This is a dated explanation of the completed event, not a claim that voting remains open today. A future event may use different rules; check its official announcement.

Priority tokens come from playing. The wiki’s City Never Sleeps write-up also notes oddities: 847 players voted every round and always picked the winner, while 36,236 voted every round and never did. 22,194 voted only for Nurse Harrow.
